Warm up utilized concept illustrated in video above. Went over homework on accumulation functions, then learned about the FTC with the chain rule. Basically, whenever the upper bound of an FTC problem (taking the derivative of an accumulation function) is not just x, you still put whatever it is into the integrand but you also chain on the derivative of what it is you're plugging in. Then proved the FTC by considering an increment of area and shrinking the size of the increment and thereby generating the limit definition of derivative, connecting the two major ideas of the course: derivatives and integrals. Also proved using properties of definite integrals why the FTC2 (evaluating definite integrals) works.
