Warm up was to write the equation of a tangent line for a function whose derivative required rewriting and the power rule. Passed back assessments and did another power rule example, then went over the Product and Quotient Rules (here is the proof of them) and worked through 2 examples. Then looked at the derivative as a graphical function, and how the values of the derivative graph describe the slope of the original graph. Started exploring these relationships using the applets found at j.mp/calcgg
