Sub was present. Went over homework on Newton's method and review of curve sketching and f/f'/f" relationships. Took assessment, studied basic antidifferentiation techniques in textbook. Then worked on taking antiderivatives in class.
Homework:
p. 251 #11-30, 50

Warm up dealt with writing an antiderivative and then solving partner's problems. Went over basic antiderivative homework. Then looked at relationship among f-prime and f and the directionality of the derivative and the integral and how they are inverse operations (more on this idea later). Took chain rule derivative problems as review, noticing patterns in their structure. This allowed us to realize that if we can notice that pattern in anti-derivatives, chain rule problems become much easier to do. Lecture notes including additional example (I-A2a)
Homework:.
p. 301 #9-20 (I-A2a)
