Quickly went over the basics of the washer method for volumes of solids of revolution. Gave time to work on homework in class. See resources for a long video with a ton of examples.

Went over HW in ds, then worked a washer method problem with vertical rotation (see board notes below, or example 2 on this EXCELLENT page: link)
Then prepared for non-axis rotations by examining how to find length between a given line and a function, which was just the difference between the two (top minus bottom or right minus left, even in negative regions). Then worked through example of non-axis rotation: see this page's example 3 for same problem + video examples below in resources). Repeated the process for an axis below the region being rotated and another for an axis to the left of the region.
