Wednesday
DS: Went over inflection points and concavity hw. Covered MVT graphically.
Class: Discussed MVT analytically and finding the value of c guaranteed by the MVT for functions differentiable on an interval. Passed back assessments and talked about the difference in increasing and positive values and their roles in justifying locations of relative extrema and inflection points. Worked through some practice assessment questions. Here is a blank copy. lecture notes forthcoming.

Went over MVT homework. Took assessment on extrema, increasing and decreasing, first derivative test, second derivative and concavity, and the MVT. Then worked on corrections on timed, multiple choice AP test on derivatives from Monday.
Homework:
- finish corrections; half credit earned back (3.57 points per correction) ONLY if you turn in an honest attempt at the Bingo/Review worksheet.
